Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to take and fulfil your order:

• Order & contact details you give us: name, email, phone number, shipping address, and the contents of your order.
• Payment data: card payments are handled by TapPay. We receive a transaction ID and result (success or failure) and limited card metadata such as the last digits — never your full card number or security code.
• Technical data: we keep this minimal. Your theme and language preference are stored in your browser’s localStorage, and a temporary order ID is stored in sessionStorage to prevent duplicate charges — both stay on your device. Our servers may log IP addresses and timestamps for security and troubleshooting. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

We use your data to process and charge your order, deliver it, and send order-confirmation and service emails; to provide support and handle returns and warranty claims; to detect and prevent fraud; and to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations (such as issuing invoices).

We process your data to perform our purchase contract with you, where you have given consent (for example, emails you opt into), to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure and preventing fraud. We handle personal data in accordance with Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act (個人資料保護法).

We share data only with the partners who help fulfil your order: payment processing (TapPay and the acquiring bank), shipping and logistics (couriers including SF Express, and customs authorities where required to deliver across borders), and email delivery (our email/SMTP provider). We also disclose data where required by law or valid legal process. We never sell your personal data.

We operate from Taiwan and ship worldwide, so your data — such as your shipping address — may be processed in, or transferred to, countries other than the one you live in, including by couriers and customs in order to deliver your order.

We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and for the periods required by tax, accounting, and commercial law; after that, we delete or anonymise them. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to assist you.

Traffic to and from the Site is encrypted with TLS. Card data is tokenised by TapPay and never reaches our servers, and access to order data is restricted to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

We use only functional browser storage — your theme and language preferences, and the temporary order ID described above. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can clear this storage at any time in your browser; doing so simply resets those preferences.

Under the Personal Data Protection Act you may ask us to confirm whether we hold your data and to review it, request a copy, correct it, or delete it, and ask us to stop collecting, processing, or using it. To exercise these rights, email jacklin@skaiwalk.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Our products and Site are intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we revise the “Last updated” date above, and we will highlight material changes on this page.
